Scott is a 13 year veteran of the United States Navy SEALs, a Chief Petty Officer, and a Master Training Specialist.
In addition to operating on active SEAL teams, Scott spent years training junior officers and enlisted SEALs how to perform at elite levels physically, emotionally, and tactically in the world’s most demanding environments.
His military experience allowed him to coach and train people in over 15 countries on 5 different continents. Before joining the Navy after 9/11, he was a highly successful salesman for five years in corporate America.
Through his military and professional experience, Scott shares a unique perspective on Focus 3’s system. With passion, he conveys the value of critical decision-making and a systematic approach to leadership, culture, and behavior, for the ultimate purpose of producing exceptional results.
Prior to joining Focus 3 in February 2015, Tim served in senior leadership roles at three large publicly traded companies (American Electric Power, Huntington Bank and Pike Corporation).
Tim understands that success as a leader requires the development of skills that go well beyond technical competence. He brings a passion for developing leaders at all levels while working with leadership teams to create and sustain high performing cultures.
His operational background combined with his knowledge and experience in talent management enables him to quickly establish high impact relationships and serve as an effective coach to senior leaders and their teams.
Tim completed his undergraduate degree at Purdue University and later obtained his MBA from The Ohio State University’s Fisher School of Business.
