Scott Daly

Scott Daly

Scott is a veteran of the United States Navy SEAL Teams since 2002, a Chief Petty Officer, and a Master Training Specialist. Scott is a graduate of The Ohio State University.

In addition to operating on active SEAL teams, Scott spent years training junior officers and enlisted SEALs how to perform at elite levels physically, emotionally, and tactically in the world’s most demanding environments.

His military experience allowed him to coach and train people in over 15 countries on 5 different continents. Before joining the Navy after 9/11, he was a highly successful District Sales Manager with a Fortune 500 company.

Through his military and professional experience, Scott shares a unique perspective on Focus 3’s system. With passion, he conveys the value of critical decision-making and a systematic approach to leadership, culture, and behavior, for the ultimate purpose of producing exceptional results.


Derek Avera

Derek Avera

A native Texan who recently returned to the Dallas area, Derek is a proud graduate of Abilene Christian University. Prior to joining Focus 3 he was a successful Business Coach with a Fortune 250 company. He found great value in utilizing the key teachings of Focus 3 as a client before joining our team.  His background includes sales and sales management in the banking, insurance and real estate spaces. And he has a heart for nonprofit organizations as well. Based on his experience, Derek is uniquely qualified to coach teams in the areas of leadership, culture and behavior.

Outside of work, he spends quality time with his sweet wife of 30 years, two daughters and a new son-in-law. Derek enjoys playing golf, working out and following all major sports.

Derek is passionate about leadership, coaching, the sales process and relationship building through highly effective communications. He specializes in delivering dynamic presentations and facilitating interactive workshops for purposes of driving elite results.
