This popular, but dangerous, belief is only half-true

Brian Kight - Oct 3, 2018 5:30:00 AM

Everywhere you look and listen, some version of this message is being mainstreamed and accepted, “You can be anything you want to be. Don’t let anyone tell you what you can and can’t do.”

We can all agree the spirit and intent is on target, but we have to tell the whole truth, not just the convenient parts. Big dreams have big price tags.

You don’t get what you want at the price you want. You get what you want when you’re willing to pay the entire price. All of it, in full, no discounts, no sales, no exceptions.

That’s the real truth. Remember that whenever someone says you can be anything you want. Some do. Some don’t. Some will. Some won’t.

Do the work.
