You will be criticized, publicly and privately, no matter what you do. Whether you follow advice or go your own way, the path is full of judgment from those who will disagree with you. You might as well do good things you enjoy, to clear standards you choose, for a worthy purpose you believe in. Own every action and there’s nothing to defend.
